Nicole Acacio

I started as a production assistant in 1997 and built my producing career from the ground up. I learned through the standard production roles from a P.A. through coordinating, production managing to producing.  After 7 years of freelance producing for multiple directors and companies working on commercials, music videos, live concerts, and documentaries I became a staff Executive Producer with Rockhard Films in 2008. During my time there, I have produced everything from national commercial spots for Target, Jenny Craig, Canon,  and Just Dance to music videos for The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Sia, Nick Jonas, and Jay-z.  Working here and previous years my resume reads like a who’s who of the music and television world. Prince, Dolly Parton, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, etc. 

I love of the fast-paced production world and have always been excited to continue to learn as a vital part to my success. Whether it’s working with a new client or meeting an artist or celebrity, I simply want to create something special for them so they can walk away as excited with the results as I am with the process.

In addition to my work behind the scenes, I can be seen in the 2010 Joaquin Phoenix faux documentary “I’m Still Here” as the assistant to Phoenix. My role in this cinematic social experiment also included the role of associate producer.

Outside of the production world, I am an animal lover. Also, an avid traveler, always looking to explore, you might find me on the beaches of Nicaragua and Costa Rica or exploring the beauty of the historic European country side, or just enjoying time on my yoga mat as a newly trained yoga instructor.

Like many people, I moved to California from the East Coast with a Hollywood dream in my heart. Unlike some Hollywood stories though, my life is that dream come true. “I feel like I am working in my dream job and love it!”
